As Your Parking Business Grows, uDrive Is Keeping Pace!

One distinct benefit provided by your uDrive subscription is input on what we develop and post to the site each quarter. What we have been hearing consistently from the community these past few months is that business is booming, and organizations are growing like crazy. This has triggered requests for files in a few key areas, and we want to make sure all current and future customers are aware of what we’re adding to the uDrive site.

A very common request of late has been career development resources for managers as new roles are created and bench strength continues to be needed. The list of technical and soft skills training modules for this audience has been growing every quarter. Most recently we added a module on developing and maintaining successful client relationships, and this week we are posting a module on effectively managing projects. This quarter we are also developing a job aide for managers on best practices related to payroll processes.

How to manage the changes that come with system upgrades and implementation has become a very common request as well. To that end, just this week we are posting two files to the HR library that can be of help. The first is a change management best practices that highlights key tactics to lead employees through any change effort. The key to any change effort is the communications involved in implementing it, and the second file posted addresses just that with a change management communications planning form.

As many of you continue to open new locations on a regular basis, and we try to keep in step by adding files to the Location Opening section of the Training and Operational Support library that will assist. Next week we will post a Location Start Up Budget template to help identify and plan for all of the expenses involved in opening a location. Companies that use tools like this find it easier to control these costs and obtain client approval for them, so there aren’t any surprises in this early phase of the relationship.

Is there something you would like to see added to the site that we haven’t developed already? If there is, please tell us here!
