We are looking for the ideal Regional Sales Manager for our Southeast U.S. territory who is passionate about helping our parking industry partners solve their technical challenges and improve their operations with T2’s superior line of products.

Working out of your home base in one of the major Southeast cities (Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, Raleigh-Durham, Charlotte, Charleston, Montgomery, etc.) you will be the leading force behind T2’s expansion throughout this region as you travel around these beautiful parts of the U.S. including Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Alabama.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Things you love to do:

  • You are a sales guru who loves building long-term partnerships with clients. The sales process at T2 is unlike any other in the parking technology sector. We have a proven track record of sales professionals exceeding targets and being mightily rewarded for their hard work.
  • These successes require a special type of T2 brand ambassador. You own the process, managing the entire sales cycle - from prospect to close – and you like to cold call, develop leads, nail down phone meetings, and bring the charm offensive to generate viable prospects.
  • An organizational and communications wizard, you will bring these skills to bear to create and lead captivating presentations on our software and hardware solutions, collaborate with others to draft RFP’s, and ultimately turn prospective clients into long-term partners.
  • Love of learning and continually exploring new ideas. If you are not familiar with T2, we will give you the opportunity to quickly learn our products and technology so you can clearly explain T2’s competitive advantages in the marketplace.
  • Then, you will enjoy impressing prospects and clients with your knowledge of T2’s comprehensive Parking Access Revenue Control Systems (PARCS) solution suite, including the T2 Flex and ParkingSoft PARCS and Vehicle Counting Solutions (VCS).
  • Selling the best technology on the market! We can’t say our product suite sells itself because 1) the rest of our sales team would kill us and 2) it wouldn’t be true. But we are fully confident in our technical advantages and these will definitely give you a leg up on the competition now and going into the future.
  • Collaboration and knowledge sharing is at the core of our mission. Our sales team is a high energy and close-knit group who support each other at every turn. And we will provide you with all the resources you need to meet and exceed your territory’s sales goals as laid out in annual strategic plans. This includes training, collaboration with technical engineers who possess non-geek communication skills, and continuing interaction with engaged executives open to listening and sharing ideas about how to achieve success.

  • You are a strategic thinker who loves Moneyball analytics and works to provide accurate forecasting of forthcoming sales.

What you need to have:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or five + years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in designing and selling complex enterprise solutions including both software and hardware.
  • Have an excellent understanding of contracts and strong ability to negotiate contracts.
  • Must be willing to travel frequently.
  • Ability to lead a varied sales team in a complex sales process; including coordination of team members from other companies.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Understanding of interoperability of software and hardware and how they work together to solve business related problems.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Demonstrable skill in authoring responses to solicitations & requests for proposal.
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and tactfully negotiate priorities with end users.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
