The Vice President of Human Resources has overall responsibility to ensure the HR Team delivers to all employees companywide the following: personnel management, recruiting, benefits, employee relations, employee training and development In concert with the CEO and the executive leadership team, ensures HR compliance with all regulations where we operate.
Things You Love To Do
Ensures all HR products and services in the areas of talent acquisition, onboarding, development and learning, performance coaching and employee exit are delivered by the HR Team in accordance with company standards.
Acts as an advisor to all levels of Hiring Managers in the areas of employee discipline, relations, termination, misconduct to discuss and decide appropriate action on a situational basis.
Under the guidance of the CEO and senior management team, identifies the HR strategies in the areas of career development, succession planning, goal setting, and incentive planning to then develop, deliver and manage the associated programs.
Works with insurance brokers to ensure the company’s health and dental plans remain competitive in the market place, provide intended value for its employees, and are cost effective.
Act as company’s Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Officer and ensures compliance of annual EEO-1 report, AAP reporting and OSHA and that personnel files are organized and stored in accordance with external compliance requirements within the designated area of responsibility.
With 401k provider, ensures the company’s retirement program is managed according to federal regulations and required external reporting is processed and filed within designated deadlines.
Leads the HR Team by delegating tasks and projects, managing individual performance, talent acquisition, developing and promoting team members throughout their respective employee life cycle.
Provides leadership for developing, revising and implementing all human resource related policies and procedures.
Manage all aspects of personnel data management and reporting, meeting both internal and external reporting requirements.
Provide necessary KPI’s and supporting data for senior management and board reporting.
What You Need To Have
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related field required.
Minimum of ten years experience in Human Resources in a leadership position in the parking or other service oriented industry.
Established experience in managing labor relations in union and non-union environments.
Established experience in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook and HRIS and Payroll software systems.
Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
MBA desired but not required.
SPHR designation desired but not required.
Experience in the parking or related industry desired but not required.
Experience implementing HCM solutions desired and experience using ADP Workforce Now preferred.
Experience with acquisition due diligence and integration preferred.
